Lina Zermane Of Monmouth County Dies, 30
Beloved daughter, sister, and aunt Lina Zermane of Monmouth County died unexpectedly in Delray Beach, Florida on Friday, Nov. 11. She was 30. Lina grew up in Manasquan, where she attended Manasquan Elementary School and graduated from Manasquan High School, her obituary says. She then moved to Florida to pursue a career in the restaurant service industry. Lina was remembered for her one-of-a-kind sense of humor sprinkled with unmatchable wit. Manaquan High School Goes All-Virtual Due To New Coronavirus Cases
With the discovery of three new COVID-19 cases in Manasquan, the school district has opted to keep high school students home for all-virtual learning. Also, SAT and ACT tests have been cancelled at Manasquan for the next two weekends, officials said. Remote learning will be effective until Oct. 18, according to Manasquan Superintendent of Schools Frank Kasyan. Beloved Athlete Matt Wingo, 41, Of Kinnelon Remembered For Determination, Perseverance
Matt Wingo of Kinnelon died Feb. 25 due to a complication of emergency open-heart surgery. He was 41 years old. More than $8,200 had been raised as of Wednesday on a GoFundMe launched in Wingo's memory by Kim Cote. The money is being raised for medical and funeral bills.
