A fire that left a man dead in Ocean County is under investigation.
On Monday, March 6, at approximately 1:45 p.m., multiple fire companies from the Little Egg Harbor Township area responded to a structure fire on Harvest Way.
During a search of the residence, the body of a dead male was discovered, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer.

A pair of Jersey Shore residents have been indicted in charges stemming from the overdose death of a 16-year-old boy, authorities said.
David Belk, 45, and Stephanie O’Neill, 44, both of Little Egg Harbor, were indicted by an Ocean County Grand Jury Nov. 4 on charges of strict liability drug induced death, endangering the welfare of a child, distribution of heroin, possession of heroin with intent to distribute and possession of heroin, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. A Jersey Shore couple was jailed in connection with an overdose heroin/fentanyl death of a 16-year-old boy last month, authorities said.
David Belk, 45, and Stephanie O’Neill, 44, both of Little Egg Harbor, have been charged with strict liability, endangering the welfare of a child, and drug related charges, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer and Captain James Hawkins said.
Belk and O’Neill supplied heroin and fentanyl to the 16-year-old boy, who was found unresponsive on the floor of an East Susquehanna Driver on July 3, authorities said.
