A 40-year-old man from Camden County has been convicted for rape during a home invasion break-in nearly 10 years ago, authorities said. Danny McEaddy, of Sicklerville, was found guilty by a jury on Thursday, April 18, according to Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone. A 54-year-old New Jersey man has been arrested after police in Delaware say he stole the vehicle of a Good Samaritan checking on him after a crash. Nadeem Cassiem of Keasbey (Woodbridge) was heading south on I-95 in a Toyota Rav4 in Newark, DE near State Route 273 around 7:10 a.m. Wednesday Feb. 7, when he rear-ended a white Dodge RAM pickup, Delaware State Police said. : Firefighters Rescue Two Kids, Adult Trapped In Perth Amboy House Blaze
Two children and an adult trapped on an upper floor were rescued by Perth Amboy firefighters during a Friday night house blaze. Four people in all were hospitalized in the Market Street fire, all with injuries that weren’t considered life-threatening, firefighters said. A total of 18 people were displaced, they said.
