8K+ Without Power Amid Another Round Of Storms In New Jersey
More than 8,000 New Jersey residents were without power amid another round of storms on Sunday, June 22.
PSE&G's outage map shows 5,341 were in the dark in Burlington County and more than 3,000 in Camden. The majority of the outages were in Maple Shade, Moorestown, Haddon and Pennsauken.
In Union County, nearly 1,000 had lost power in Westfield.
Smaller but more widespread outages were reported on the Jersey Shore, according to JCP&L, specifically in Long Branch, Red Bank, Asbury Park, Hazlet, Middletown, Keansburg, and Matawan.

Man Fatally Beats Ex-GF Dead In NJ Home: Prosecutor
A New Jersey man named Kevin Bacon has been arrested after police say he beat his ex-girlfriend to death.
April Duncza, 39, was found during a welfare check at a home on Paul Street in the Fords section of Woodbridge with serious head trauma around 4:50 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone said.
Duncza was pronounced deceased at the scene, and her ex-boyfriend, Kevin Bacon, 46, of Keansburg, was identified as a suspect, Ciccone said alongside Woodbridge Police Director Robert Hubner.

A former Hudson County sheriff’s officer admitted defrauding a bank to duck $98,000 in mortgage payments on a Jersey Shore home, federal authorities said.
Osbado Hernandez, 54, of Avenel, conspired with others to lie about a bogus short sale of his house in Keansburg so that the unidentified bank would discharge what was left on his mortgage, U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger said.
Hernandez bought the property for $239,900 in 2006, financing it through a mortgage loan from the victimized bank, a complaint on file in U.S. District Court in Trenton says.

James Sutton, 55, of Keansburg, was holding up the Keansburg Pharmacy in Keansburg Plaza on Main Street when officers responding to multiple 911 calls arrived shortly before 3:30 p.m. on Jan. 6, 2022, New Jersey Attorney General Matthew J. Platkin said.

On Wednesday, Aug. 24, Middletown police arrested Marcus Brady, of Keansburg, on two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, following an investigation of incidents that occurred in Middletown, police said.

A Keansburg police officer has admitted to a sex crime and is now expected to lose his job, register as a sex offender and serve a prison term, authorities said.
Nicholas Thompson, 25, pleaded guilty to a second-degree charge of attempted aggravated sexual assault on Tuesday, May 17, according to Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Lori Linskey.
