A pair of suspected shoplifters from New York was arrested at Jackson Premium Outlets, authorities said. On Wednesday, June 15, at approximately 5:25 p.m., detectives were conducting surveillance when they observed two individuals allegedly engaged in suspicious activity near the Nike store which appeared to be consistent with shoplifting, Jackson police said. A 59-year-old motorcyclist from Jackson was seriously hurt in a crash along the Garden State Parkway, authorities said. The crash occurred on Saturday, June 4, at 7:46 p.m. along the parkway southbound at milepost 81.4 in Toms River, a New Jersey State Police spokesman said. Authorities have identified the 50-year-old Neptune motorist killed in a three-vehicle crash on Route 33. Robert C. Johnson died after a pickup headed west in the area of Colts Neck Road veered onto the eastbound side of the highway, sideswiped a sedan and then collided with his car head-on, the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office said.
