Teen Made Bomb Threats Against Hooters In Central Jersey: Police
A 16-year-old boy from Old Bridge has been accused of making hoax bomb threats against Hooters restaurant in East Brunswick, authorities said. The teenager, whose name was not released, allegedly confessed to making the threats by phone twice this month to the Hooters at 195 Highway 18, East Brunswick police said. He was charged with juvenile delinquency. Both threats prompted evacuations of the restaurant, police said. Hooters Girls brought school supplies and lots of joy to schoolchildren during a recent trip to the Bahamas. The eight girls — who hailed from Delaware, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island — distributed coloring books, crayons, sunglasses and toiletries to students at Gateway Christian Academy in Bimini.
