A Wall Township man was accused of stealing more than $5,000 from a bank, authorities said.
Jeffrey Kniffin, 50, was charged with first-degree armed robbery, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and fourth-degree possession of hollow-point bullets, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond Santiago said in a news release on Thursday, Oct. 24. A wanted man and a teen were accused of having a defaced gun with a high-capacity magazine in Atlantic County, authorities said.
Russell Daniel, 27, of Atlantic City, and a 15-year-old were arrested at around 10:05 p.m. on Tuesday, June 25, the Egg Harbor Township Police Department said in a news release on Monday, July 1. An officer stopped them for a motor vehicle violation on Black Horse Pike about a mile west of the interchange with the Garden State Parkway.

A convicted sex offender who was wearing body armor when he crashed his car was found with several loaded weapons, high capacity magazines, hollow point bullets and more Sunday in Ocean County, authorities said.
A Mantaloking officer responded to the single-vehicle crash near the 1200 block where he found Jeremy W. Barringer, 46, of Toms River around 3 a.m., local police said.
