Arrest Made In Deadly Route 9 Hit-Run
A 21-year-old Manalapan man has been arrested in connection with a deadly Route 9 hit-and-run earlier this week, authorities announced. Asbury Park's Anthony Allen, 64, was found lying on the center median near Ferry Road in Old Bridge around 6:45 a.m. on Feb. 15, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone said. An investigation found that Prince Fitzpatrick had struck him the night before and fled the scene, police said. Fitzpatrick was arrested and charged with second-degree leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death and third-degree endangering an injured victim, Ciccone …

A fatal hit-and-run crash was being investigated in Central Jersey, according to developing and unconfirmed reports. The crash occurred along Route 9 near Ferry Road in Old Bridge at about 6:45 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 15, initial reports said. The victim was a middle-aged man, an unconfirmed report said. Police Officer, Bicyclist Injured In Central Jersey Crashes
A 41-year-old man from Middlesex County has been arrested in connection with a series of crashes that left a bicyclist and police officer injured, authorities said. The incident began at 1:29 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 10 when the bicyclist, a 40-year-old East Brunswick man, was riding on Route 522, crossing over Route 130 to Fresh Ponds Road. A South Jersey man has been charged with leaving the scene of a fatal hit-and-run pedestrian crash, authorities said. Matthew Cademartori, 25, of Northfield, was traveling eastbound on the White Horse Pike when he allegedly struck Talmadge Franklin, 67, of Absecon who was walking eastbound, according to Acting Atlantic County Prosecutor Cary Shill. Police seek the public's help locating a hit-and-run driver who struck a UPS delivery man in Cumberland County, authorities said.
