'Disproportionate Impact': Officials Work To Mitigate Covid-19 In NJ's Black Communities State officials are working to mitigate COVID-19's disproportionate impact in New Jersey's black communities. There were more than 4,000 coronavirus-related fatalities in New Jersey as of Friday evening, 22 percent of which were African Americans, NJ Health Commissioner Judy Persichilli said. Gov.
