Family Demands Answers After Teen Boy Killed Following Camden Birthday Party: Report
The family of a 14-year-old boy killed after another teen's birthday party in Camden is demanding answers. Daimeon Allen was at a party at the Elks Lodge on Mt. Ephraim Avenue when gunshots rang out around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 3, according to police and 6abc. His mom, Shamane Allen, was demanding answers and remembered her son as the one who stayed calm amid chaos. "So for him to die in a violent way is heart-wrenching to me," she told the outlet. Man Gunned Down At New Milford Apartment Complex, Killer At Large
A man was shot and killed behind a New Milford garden apartment complex Saturday night, said investigators who were searching for his killer. The victim, a black man in his 20s who's believed to be from out of town, was shot in the head in the rear of the Bookchester Apartments in the 900 block of Boulevard shortly after 7 p.m. Nov. 26, responders said. One man was killed and two others wounded in what investigators say was a home invasion in Trenton Wednesday evening. Officers responding to the shooting near the 200 block of Hewitt Street found a man with a gunshot wound to the hand around 7:15 p.m., Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri said. A noontime shooting wounded three people Saturday in Paterson, responders said. One of those struck by gunfire on North Main Street near Presidential Boulevard at 12:08 p.m. Nov. 12 is a 15-year-old juvenile, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Acting Paterson Police Chief Bert Ribeiro said in a joint announcement.The others are a 36-year-old man and 26-year-old woman, all from Paterson, they said. A 59-year-old Elmwood Park man died by suicide on a borough street Thursday morning, authorities confirmed. The man's body was found outside on Parkview Avenue near the intersection of Willow Street around 10:30 a.m. Oct. 27, Elmwood Park Police Chief Michael Foligno said. A 33-year-old man was shot and killed in Trenton afternoon on Sunday, Oct 9, authorities said. Officers responding to a Shot Spotter activation in the first block of Ewing Street found Daquan Brown lying on the ground at Kersey Alley with a gunshot wound to the shoulder around 3:10 p.m., the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office said. Charges against a former US Marine have been upgraded to murder after the victim who he shot in the head outside of a New Jersey sports bar died, authorities confirmed. Walter J.
