The newest bakery will be at Aldrich Plaza in Howell replacing the Howell Academy of Dance, a spokeswoman said. The chain of about 500 bakeries already has a shop in Toms River, Ocean County. ‘Bored’ NJ GNC Employee Threw Energy Drinks Around Store, Damaged Walls: Police A GNC employee in Hunterdon County told police he was simply “bored” when he decided to throw energy drinks around the store and parking lot and cause damage to the walls, authorities said. Officers responding to the Flemington GNC saw purple energy drinks thrown in the middle of the parking lot and all over the store, as well as damage to a wall inside the store, police said. A follow-up investigation found that one of the store’s employees, Nicholas Tampano, 18, had started throwing expired cans at the building and causing the damage because he was “bored,” police said. Edgewater PD: Bronx Pair Nabbed After Hitting Several Stores In Town With Bogus $100 Bills Edgewater police nabbed a pair of counterfeiters from the Bronx who hit several stores in town, authorities said. The manager of a River Road GNC called police Wednesday after the men used three bogus $100 bills to pay for low-priced items, receiving genuine cash as change, before fleeing in a white Mercedes Benz E350 Police Chief Donald Martin said. The car pulled into the parking lot of The Square shopping center when Officer Tyler Iafelice spotted it, Martin said.
