A wanted man and a teen were accused of having a defaced gun with a high-capacity magazine in Atlantic County, authorities said.
Russell Daniel, 27, of Atlantic City, and a 15-year-old were arrested at around 10:05 p.m. on Tuesday, June 25, the Egg Harbor Township Police Department said in a news release on Monday, July 1. An officer stopped them for a motor vehicle violation on Black Horse Pike about a mile west of the interchange with the Garden State Parkway.

The search for Corey McFadden has come to a tragic end.
The body of the missing 33-year-old postal worker, who was reported missing by co-workers on Monday, May 1, was recovered approximately a mile off the Sandy Hook coast after being spotted by a fisherman on Monday, May 22, New Jersey State Police Sgt. Philip Curry said.

Police in two towns seek the public's help with a missing person investigation.
Corey McFadden, 33, of Lower Township was reported missing by co-workers on Monday, May 1, after not showing up for work, Lower Township police said.
McFadden is a U.S. Postal Service employee who have delivered mail in Cape May City since 2019, a manager said.
Wall Township police, meanwhile, said McFadden's car was found on Sunday, April 30 along the Garden State Parkway.

Two motorists were seriously hurt in a pair of crashes on the Garden State Parkway in Central Jersey, authorities said.
The first crash occurred at 12:53 p.m. Monday, Nov. 28 south at milepost 125.2 in Sayreville. Preliminary investigation indicates that a Freightliner tractor-trailer was traveling southbound in the express lanes when it went off the road to the right, then struck the guardrail and concrete support beam, according to Sgt. 2 Drivers Dead In Wrong-Way Parkway Crash
Two drivers died in a head-on crash on the Garden State Parkway Friday, Oct. 21, authorities said.
Cortney Downey, of Northfield, and Michelle ross, of North Carolina, collided in Little Egg Harbor Township around 9:30 p.m., causing Ross' 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander to overturn, New Jersey State Police said.
Downey, 32, who was in a Toyota Corolla, and Ross were both pronounced dead. It was not clear which driver was heading in the wrong direction.

Bicyclist, 61, Struck, Killed In Jersey Shore Crash
A 61-year-old bicyclist from Ocean County was killed when he was struck by a Jeep, authorities said.
On Monday, May 2, at 9:40 p.m., Stafford police responded to a collision on Route 72 westbound near the Garden State Parkway.
Investigation indicated that a 2012 Jeep operated by Ronald Sheehy, 55, of Waretown, was traveling west on Route 72, and transitioning into the far right lane to access the Garden State Parkway north ramp, Stafford police said.
