'A Great Milestone': New Recycling Center Celebrated In Central Jersey Township
A new recycling center has opened up for people living in Edison, officials said. A grand opening ceremony was held for the Edison Recycling Center on Tuesday, Oct. 15, according to a township news release. The facility is located at 745 New Durham Road. The center is the latest of Mayor Sam Joshi's capital improvement projects. "Our new recycling center being opened is a great milestone for all of our residents," Mayor Joshi said. ? Pair Sought In Connection With Garfield Burglary
Garfield police turned to the public for help Thursday in finding two men wanted for questioning in connection with $11,000 in cash, jewelry and electronics during a home burglary. No one was home when the burglars entered through a side window of the Farnham Avenue residence shortly before 5:30 p.m. June 6, Detective Capt. Richard Uram said.
