Man, 57, Riding E-Bike Dies In Atlantic City Crash: Police
An Atlantic City man was killed when his electric bicycle and a vehicle crashed, authorities said. Officers responded to the crash on the 100 block of North Maryland Avenue at around 12:59 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 2, the Atlantic City Police Department said in a news release. Police found the 57-year-old man suffering from serious injuries. Firefighters and paramedics tried to save his life but he was pronounced dead at the scene. An eight-year-old boy driving an electric bicycle broke his leg in a crash in Medford, authorities said. Emergency crews responded to the intersection of Wakefield Drive and Taisley Court at around 9:55 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 22, the Medford Township Police Department said in a news release. Investigators said a 2016 Honda Civic was driving east on Wakefield and approached the intersection. The car and the e-bike collided, causing the boy to be ejected. A 25-year-old electric bicyclist was struck and killed by a motor vehicle in East Brunswick, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 2 a.m. on Thursday, July 25 at the intersection of Highway 18 North and South Woodland Avenue, East Brunswick police said. The bicyclist, Rohit Sharma, was critically injured and pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The driver of the vehicle was uninjured and remained at the crash scene, they said. E-Bike Rider Killed By Two Cars After Falling In Ocean County: Police
An Ocean County man riding an electric bicycle was killed after he fell off it and was hit by two cars, authorities said. Joseph Slover, 54, of Whiting, was killed in the crash on Route 530 on Monday, Feb. 26, the Manchester Township Police Department said in a news release. The 33-year-old rider of an electric bicycle struck and killed by a vehicle in Toms River has been identified, authorities said. Michael Cerrachio of Little Egg Harbor reportedly swerved into traffic before the fatal crash on Wednesday, Sept. 27, Toms River police said.
