An 11-year-old New Jersey middle school student who died by suicide in her school bathroom — just days after losing her dad, an NJ Transit police detective, to cancer — recorded a chilling voice note years before her death.

John-Tyler Dawes, 27, of Delaware County, died suddenly on Sunday, Feb. 12, according to his obituary.
