Father High On PCP Injured Baby Son Dropping, Swinging Him In Jersey Shore City: Police
A North Wildwood man was accused of dropping and swinging his baby son while high on PCP, authorities said. David Fletcher III, 38, was arrested on Tuesday, July 2, the North Wildwood Police Department said in a news release on Thursday, July 11. Officers responded to reports of a man possibly having a medical issue on the 1200 block of Atlantic Avenue. Police suspected Fletcher was under the influence of drugs "due to his erratic behavior." Two Atlantic County women were arrested after a toddler overdosed on methamphetamine, authorities said. Holly Peace, 43, of Egg Harbor Township, and Gabrielle DePasquale, 44, of Atlantic City, were charged with endangering the welfare of a child, the Egg Harbor Township Police Department said in a news release on Friday, June 7. Peace was also charged with neglect of a child and possession of a controlled dangerous substance.
