: Atlantic City Officer Rescues Man Drowning In Bay
An Atlantic City police officer rescued a man who was drowning, authorities said. The visitor from Dubai had fallen off a dock, they said. On Tuesday, July 12, at 12:52 p.m., Officers Rebecca Seabrook and John Bell responded to a residence in the first block of North Trenton Avenue for a report of a male in distress and drowning in the bay. Officers arrived and located the victim, a 43-year-old man, floating and resting against the pilings of a dock in the rear of the residence. Drowning Bergen County Boy, 3, Pulled From Pool
A drowning 3-year-old boy was pulled from a backyard pool and rushed to Hackensack University Medical Center early Monday afternoon. Hospital staff tried to resuscitate the child, who was in cardiac arrest as police escorted the ambulance from the home on Forest Avenue in Rochelle Park shortly after 1:30 p.m. Hackensack and Maywood police assisted in clearing a path. Body Of Missing Delaware River Swimmer Found
The body of a swimmer who went missing last week in the Delaware River was found over the weekend, WFMZ reports. Christopher Schofield's body was found by a park visitor around 4:30 p.m. Saturday, near Kittatinny Point within the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, the outlet said. A 21-year-old man from Cumberland County drowned after getting caught in a rip current off Corson’s Inlet State Park in Ocean City, authorities said. Swimmers Drown In North Jersey Lake
A trip to a North Jersey lake turned deadly for two swimmers on Tuesday, June 14. Bodies of the 17- and- 22-year-old Hispanic males were recovered from the waters of Mine Hill Beach in the evening hours, Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll said.
