Man Robbed Two 7-Eleven Stores In Same South Jersey Township On Same Day, Police Say
A Mercer County man was accused of robbing two 7-Eleven convenience stores in the same township, authorities said.
Bobbyjean Orak, 29, of Hamilton Township, was charged with second-degree robbery and criminal attempted robbery, and two counts of fourth-degree theft. The Evesham Township Police Department announced his arrest in a news release on Tuesday, Aug. 20.
Officers responded to a robbery report at the 7-Eleven on East Main Street on Wednesday, July 31, 2024. The suspect had already left by the time police arrived.

Charges have been upgraded for a 24-year-old man accused of attacking his girlfriend with a machete, following her death, authorities in Monmouth County said.
Alex J. Williams' girlfriend died on Thursday, May 30, a week after she was found suffering serious injuries in the parking lot of the Glen Oaks Apartment Complex, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond S. Santiago said.
The victim was rushed to a local hospital, where she remained for a week before she died, police said.

Suspect Detained In Double Fatal Lakewood Shooting: Prosecutor
A judge has ordered that a suspect in a double fatal shooting on the Jersey Shore remain detained, authorities said.
Tyshaun Drummond, 39, of Toms River, shall remain in the Ocean County Jail pending trial on two counts of murder, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer said on Friday.
Drummond is charged in connection with the shooting deaths of Nicholas Hardy, 36, of Toms River, and Sergio Chavez-Perez, 32, of Lakewood, in the early morning hours of Dec. 19, 2021, in Lakewood Township, the prosecutor said.
