Mount Holly Parolee Gets 15 Years In State Prison For Fatally Shooting Her Wife
A 31-year-old parolee from Mount Holly was sentenced to 15 years in state prison for fatally shooting her wife during a domestic dispute, authorities said. Laura Bluestein, 31, was sentenced on Wednesday by Superior Court Judge Terrence R. Cook, according to Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina. In February, the jury found Bluestein guilty of aggravated manslaughter and tampering with evidence in the fatal shooting of her 29-year-old wife, Felicia Dormans, Coffina said. A 28 year-old man from Atlantic City man has pleaded guilty to weapons charges in connection with the fatal shooting of a 10-year-old boy in Pleasantville, authorities said. Tyrell Dorn entered his plea on Monday, Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner said in a statement. Prosecutors recommend that Dorn receive a seven-year state prison term when he’s sentenced next month. A gunman running from Paterson police fired a shot from an AK-47 that went into a home Tuesday night, authorities said.
