Jersey Shore Man Admits To Stealing Gun, Having Cocaine And Heroin: Prosecutors
A Barnegat Township man admitted to having heroin, cocaine, and a stolen gun, authorities said.
Quaison Ellis, 25, pleaded guilty on Monday, July 15 to several charges related to two incidents, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer said in a news release. He faces up to 10 years in prison.

Noah Benjamin Koenig, of Edison, died suddenly on Friday, June 7, according to an obituary published by Dangler Funeral Home. He was 20 years old.
Noah graduated from John P. Stevens High School in Edison in 2022, and joined the Cub Scouts in the first grade, his obituary said. He continued his journey with Boy Scouts where he earned the highest rank of Eagle Scout.
As a sophomore at Rutgers University, Noah majored in criminal justice so he could follow in the footsteps of his uncle, Robert Laureano, his obituary said. He was a member of Pi Kappa Phi fraternity at Rutgers. …

A 33-year-old Ridgefield man choked a Fairview pre-teen “to the point of unconsciousness” and had removed both his and the incapacitated child's clothes before he was stopped, authorities said.
Julio Amaro-Vasquez, who lives on Bergen Boulevard just off Oakdene Avenue, was charged with attempted murder, attempted aggravated sexual assault, aggravated assault, attempted sexual assault by contact and child endangerment.

A Lakewood man admitted to selling cocaine and committing an armed carjacking, authorities said.
Harold Galloway, 53, pleaded guilty to three charges on Monday, Apr. 22, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer announced in a news release. His guilty pleas were for possession of more than one-half ounce but less than five ounces of crack cocaine, certain person not to possess a firearm, and carjacking.
