Paterson rapper Fetty Wap is in custody again, this time for flashing a gun and threatening to kill a “rat” during a Facetime call while he was free on bond in another case, federal authorities said. The Dec. 11, 2021 video call violated conditions of the hip-hop artist’s release following a major drug bust late last year, they said, leading to his arrest in New Jersey on Monday, Aug. 8. Paterson native and rapper Fetty Wap was released from prison on a $500,000 bond after he was indicted last month in a cross-country drug trafficking scheme. New Jersey rapper Fetty Wap was among six men charged with running an elaborate cross-country drug distribution ring out of Long Island, authorities announced Friday. The rapper, whose real name is Willie Junior Maxwell II, was arrested Thursday by FBI agents at Citi Field.
