A man who stalked his murder victim and plotted to kill a witness has been sentenced to 55 years in New Jersey State Prison, authorities said.
Former Lindenwold resident Kenneth Saal, 33, previously pleaded guilty to murder, burglary and stalking, according to Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone.
The sentence was in connection with the murder of co-worker Carolyn Byington, 26, of Plainsboro.

A South Jersey man charged with a murder and conspiracy to commit murder pleaded guilty on Wednesday, Nov. 2, authorities said.

A Central Jersey man was charged in connection with a murder-for-hire plot, authorities said.
In August 2019, Kenneth Saal, 30, formerly of Lindenwold, in Camden County, was charged with murdering Carolyn Byington, 26, of Plainsboro, in her apartment. Saal was Byington’s coworker, according to Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone.
