Devoted Toms River father Michael William Andrew Taggart died on Tuesday, June 21 following a courageous battle with cancer. He was 35.
Described as a kind and caring soul, Michael had many passions in life, the greatest undoubtedly being his young son, Andrew, his obituary says.
Michael was also remembered as having an incredible sense of humor and an “eternally positive spirit” who was “always quick with a joke, even during difficult times.”
Michael’s other hobbies included music, video games, and playing poker with his many friends.

Cancer Causing Weed Killer Found In Most Americans' Urine, Study Says
Monsanto, a weed killer known for causing cancer, was discovered in the urine of most Americans, according a multi-agency government study.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention program, the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey collected urine samples from participants ages six and up and found glyphosate in 1,885 of 2,310 samples, according to the study results.
The chemical is the active ingredient in Roundup weed killer, which is made by Monsanto, a company which has battled thousands of lawsuits over it's cancer causing properties.

Support is on the rise for the daughters of New Jersey native and beloved father Joseph Thomas Kobialka, who died after a valiant battle with cancer on Monday, April 25 at the age of 38.
Born in Somers Point, Joseph grew up New Gretna before recently moving to Georgetown, Delaware, where he lived at the time of his death, his obituary says.
