Man Seriously Injured After Crash On Route 287: Njsp A man suffered serious injuries following a collision on Route 287 in Somerset County on the afternoon of Friday, Oct. 18. At 5:18 p.m., a Ford pickup truck was traveling northbound on Route 287 in Bridgewater Township when it veered off the roadway to the right, struck the guardrail and then crossed into another lane, and hit another guardrail, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. The driver, a 66-year-old Lake Hopatcong resident sustained serious injuries, Lebron said. The crash remains under investigation, Lebron said.

Maria Zuniga was crossing Union Avenue near Finderne Avenue at 9:55 a.m. attempting to reach a bus stop when she was struck by a 2015 Honda CRV driven by a 73-year-old Somerville man heading east, Bridgewater Police Officer Cole Taggert said.
