Boston Woman Charged With Killing Fellow UMass Dartmouth Student From NJ In On-Campus Crash: DA
A 22-year-old Boston woman will face charges after she fatally struck 19-year-old University of Massachusetts Dartmouth student Frank Petillo Jr. earlier this year, authorities said. Danasia Sampson, of Mattapan, MA, was charged last week with motor vehicle homicide by negligent operation, the Bristol County District Attorney's Office said. Sampson is also a student at the university. Petillo, a Manahawkin, NJ, native, was crossing Ring Road with a friend on April 6 near his dorm when police say Sampson crashed into him with her Honda Accord around 5:30 p.m., the Bristol prosecutor said.…

Mercer County Engineer, 25, Killed In Wrong-Way Massachusetts Crash
A 25-year-old engineer from Mercer County was killed this week by a wrong-way driver in Massachusetts, where she lived and worked, police said. Geetika Guruprasad, of West Windsor, died just after 12:45 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 17, in Littleton, a suburb of Boston. Guruprasad was driving her Mazda CX-5 on Route 2 when an SUV traveling on the wrong side of the road collided with her, Massachusetts State Police said. A New Jersey native has been identified as the pilot who crashed his gyrocopter and died north of Boston. The Somerville native died while attempting to take off in his gyrocopter at an airport on the North Shore, Daily Voice reported. Florida Man, 76, Admits Masturbating, Touching Woman On Flight From Newark: Feds
A 76-year-old Florida man faces 90 days in jail after he pleaded guilty this week to masturbating on a flight from Newark to Boston earlier this year, federal authorities said. Donald Edward Robinson of Bonita Springs was accused of exposing himself and masturbating at a 21-year-old woman aboard the April 8 flight, the FBI reported.
