Atlantic County Woman Stole $175K From Jersey Shore Nursing Home: Prosecutor
A 35-year-old woman from Atlantic County is accused of stealing more than $175,000 from a senior living community she planned events for in Ocean County, authorities said.
Alicia K. Campbell, of Mays Landing, was charged last week with theft, forgery, falsifying records and credit card fraud, all in connection with her former position as Lifestyle Director of the Greenbriar Oceanaire Community & Golf Course, a senior living community in Ocean Township (Waretown), they said.

Eight Mega Millions tickets worth $10,000 and one good for $30,000 were sold across New Jersey.
The tickets from the Tuesday, Jan. 10 drawing won the third-tier prize. The $30,000 winner was purchased with the Megaplier option, tripling the prize. A $1 million ticket was sold in Ocean County.

Jersey Shore Girl, 15, In Intensive Care After Being Struck By Car
A 15-year-old girl from Ocean County remains in intensive care after being struck by a car.
Makiah was hit on Wednesday, July 13 while crossing Route 72 in Manahawkin, according to a GoFundMe launched for her medical expenses.
Community support is growing for Makian and her mother, Tiffany Worthy of Barnegat, after the crash.
"As a member of our work family, she is well known to everyone here on campus for her loving heart and soul," reads the campaign, which had raised nearly $4,900 in just a few hours.

Jersey Shore Native, Beloved Photographer Dies Suddenly, 36
Jersey Shore native and beloved photographer Walter Kelly McCaffrey, Jr. died unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 5. He was 36.
Walter grew up in Barnegat and graduated from South Regional High School, his obituary and social media pages say.
Walter then went on to graduate from Colorado Mountain College before moving to Denver, where he was studying economics at the University of Colorado, his memorial says.
Walter was a skilled photographer and enjoyed cycling, snowboarding, and surfing, his obituary says.
