NJ Police Chief Admits Coverup of Sex Affair With Subordinate
A retired New Jersey police chief admitted trying to cover up a sexual affair with a subordinate, authorities said. Andrew Kudrick, 50, will be banned for life from public employment and will receive probation instead of prison time in exchange, state Attorney General Matthew Platkin said. A beautiful home in Monmouth County was left to just a shell of itself after fire roared through it, authorities said. An intense blaze destroyed the home on Alex Drive.in Howell on Thursday. The home's occupants escaped safely thanks to a neighbor who ran across the street after spotting flames, police said. : Police Officer Rescues Driver From Fiery Central Jersey Wreck
A Howell Township patrol officer saved a driver from a burning car on Saturday night, authorities said. Police Officer Nicholas Volpe spotted the car, which was fully engulfed in flames, on Manassa Road about 7:45 p.m. on Saturday, Howell police said.
