Biz Owner Used Drone To Drop Dye Into Atlantic County Pools: Police
A 45-year-old man from Atlantic County has been arrested in connection with dropping dye from a drone into local pools, authorities said.
Patrick Spina 4th, of Absecon, owner of Comfort Solutions Heating and Cooling, is facing multiple counts of criminal mischief, according to Absecon police.
On Aug. 13, Absecon Police received a call from a concerned homeowner on Upland Avenue, who reported suspicious activity involving a drone hovering over their pool. "To the homeowner's dismay, a substance was dropped from the drone, turning the pool water an alarming shade of green," police said. …

The founder of a Jersey Shore charter school and its business administrator illegally steered a $115,000 contract to the founder’s side business, state authorities charged.
Peter Caporilli, 59, of Absecon, and Michael Falkowski, 48, of Point Pleasant, split a single project to build an outdoor learning center at Principle Academy in Egg Harbor Township into two smaller contracts for $40,000 and $75,000, respectively, a grand jury found.

A months-long investigation into the sale of drugs resulted in the arrest of 16 people and the recovery of multiple handguns and a huge quantity of heroin/fentanyl, authorities said.
