Have You Seen Him? Jackson Police Seek Public's Help Locating Burglary Suspect

Jackson police are asking the public for assistance in their investigation of multiple burglaries in senior citizen communities. The police department is asking residents to report any suspicious individuals spotted in the neighborhood.

Recently, numerous break-ins have been reported in the Four Seasons at South Knolls located on North County Line Road, Four Seasons at Metedeconk located between Harmony and Eltone Roads, Greenbriar at Winding Ways located on South Cooks Bridge Road and West Lake Mews, also located off of South Cooks Bridge Road.

A resident of the of Chesterfield Drive in Four Seasons at Metedeconk told police that they found a suspicious person walking throughout the neighborhood. This person insisted he was a security guard but failed to identify himself. Police came to investigate the area but could not find the man. Later, a resident on Chesterfield Drive reported a burglary at their home.   

Detectives managed to collect Ring doorbell footage from someone living in the Four Seasons at Metedeconk and the video shows a likely suspect, police said. 

The person in the video footage appears to match the description of the suspicious man that was reported in the neighborhood, police said.

In the video, police said that the man tried to cover his face and a crowbar is seen in his backpack once he turns away from the door.

Police are asking if anyone has any information of can identity the suspect, to call the Jackson Police Department at 732-928-1111.
