Marijuana 'Edibles' Found In Jersey Shore Child's Halloween Candy Bag

Police on the Jersey Shore are warning parents that ingredients found in marijuana may have been dropped into their child's Halloween trick-or-treat bag.

A bag of marijuana candy, labeled "Medic-8-ed Nerdy Bears,"  surfaced in the Ocean Acres section of Stafford Township, police said.

The brightly colored package of edibles was reported to police on Monday. The child was visiting what's known as the Oaks neighborhood near Anchor Avenue, police said. 

According to the label on the back of Nerdy Bears, it contains 20 servings with 18.5 milligrams of Delta-8 THC in each package.
