Bay Head Firefighter Dave Clark, 47, Dies Of Coronavirus

The Ocean County community of Bay Head is mourning the loss of one of its first responders to coronavirus.

David Clark, 47, died Saturday of complications related to COVID-19,, the Bay Head Fire Company announced on Facebook. He had been hospitalized for two weeks.

"Dave passed this morning following a long and tough battle with the COVID-19 virus. Dave had served as a dedicated member of the Bay Head Fire Company for many years and had held numerous positions within the department. Dave will be sorely missed," the Facebook post said.

Clark is survived by his wife, Lisa, who is with the Bay Head Fire Police; his daughter, Michaela; and his son, Zach Clark, who is a probationary firefighter.
