Timothy O. Atanda, 48, of Newark, was behind the wheel when the crash happened at mile marker 60.7 in Upper Saucon Township, Lehigh County, at approximately 2:01 p.m. on Wednesday, March 5, the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office said. Suicidal NJ Man Crashes, BMW Catches Fire After Police Chase On Route 22: PA State Troopers A suicidal man crashed his vehicle and was ejected after leading Pennsylvania State Police on a chase along Route 22 in South Whitehall Township, authorities announced. Troopers from the Pennsylvania State Police Troop M – Fogelsville Crime Unit were alerted to a suicidal male traveling into Pennsylvania from New Jersey on Monday, Dec. 16, at approximately 11:30 a.m., according to a release. 76-Year-Old Fatally Injured While Cutting Tree In Monroe County: Officials A Somerset, New Jersey man was fatally struck by a falling tree branch in Middle Smithfield, according to authorities.  David M. Feingold, 76, was cutting a tree on June 29 when a large branch fell and hit him, said the Lehigh County Coroner's Office. The accident happened on the 200 block of Melvin Lane, officials said.  Feingold was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest where he died from complications of blunt-force trauma to the head on Sunday, July 14, the Coroner's Office said. His death was ruled accidental.
