Homicide Roundup: Prosecutor Releases Names Of 14 Accused Killers In Summer NJ Murders
It's been a busy four months for the Essex County Prosecutor's Homicide Task Force. Fourteen suspects have been arrested in 12 Newark committed from Saturday, June 1 through Monday, Sept. 30, Essex County Prosecutor Theodore Stephens, II and Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Frage said. A man was fatally struck by an NJ Transit train on the evening of Tuesday, Oct. 15 in Rahway, authorities said. The man was struck at 7:45 p.m. by Northeast Corridor train 3963, which had departed Penn Station New York at 7:12 p.m. and was set to arrive in Trenton at 8:36 p.m., NJ Transit said.
