Unconscious Driver Found With Heroin Blocking Traffic At Bergen County Intersection: Police Police arrested 23-year-old Lyndhurst man on multiple drug charges after he was found unconscious and slumped over the wheel of his car, blocking traffic this week. Austin Gilchrist was unresponsive and slumped over the steering wheel of a Ford Escape with its engine running, when Lyndhurst police were called to DeJessa Bridge just before 5 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, Detective Lt. Vincent Auteri said. When attempts to wake Gilchrist failed, officers forced entry into the vehicle.
