Somerset County Man Sentenced After Defrauding $4 Mil From Brain Injury Fund: Feds A 58-year-old Somerset County man was sentenced on Thursday, Nov. 14,  to 7.5 years in prison after he was convicted of defrauding millions from the New Jersey Brain Injury Fund, authorities said. C.R. Kraus, a Manville resident, was convicted in April of conspiracy to commit healthcare fraud, five acts of healthcare fraud, and four counts of tax evasion, US Attorney Philip Sellinger said. NJ Man Who Sexually Assaulted 8-Year-Old Gets 4 Years In Prison, Prosecutor Says A 59-year-old New Jersey resident was sentenced to four years in state prison on Friday, June 14 for sexually assaulting an 8-year-old in 2022, authorities said. In March 2022, police began investigating after an 8-year-old said Raul Elias of Manville sexually assaulted her, the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office said.  Elias was subsequently convicted of endangering the welfare of a child in March 2024 after a three-day trial, authorities said.
