Motorcyclist, 66, Dies In Head-On Crash Along Jersey Shore: Police A Somers Point man was killed when his motorcycle crashed into an oncoming SUV in Egg Harbor Township, authorities said. Alfred Mottola II, 66, died in the crash on Route 152 near the Somers Point border, the Egg Harbor Township Police Department said in a news release. Officers responded to the scene at around 8:13 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 19. Investigators said Mottola was heading west on a 2023 Harley-Davidson motorcycle near Graef Boat Yard when he crossed the center line into the eastbound lane. Man, 21, Dies In Motorcycle Crash On I-295 In Central Jersey, Troopers Say A Millville man was killed when his motorcycle crashed on Interstate 295 in Mercer County, authorities said. John Marion, 21, died in the crash on Wednesday, Nov. 6, a state police spokesperson said. It happened on I-295 North near milepost 65.4 in Hamilton Township at around 11:49 a.m. Investigators said Marion was driving a Kawasaki motorcycle and struck the back of a Mini Cooper. His motorcycle overturned and he was ejected. Marion was pronounced dead at the scene. No injuries were reported in the Mini Cooper. The crash remained under investigation.

Driver Wanted After Pedestrian Killed In Shrewsbury Hit-And-Run Crash Police were looking for the driver who killed a pedestrian in Shrewsbury, authorities said. The 23-year-old Toms River man died in the hit-and-run crash on Monday, Aug. 5, a Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office spokesperson said on Friday, Aug. 16. Shrewsbury police responded to a report of an unresponsive person near the intersection of Shrewsbury and Sycamore avenues just after 2:45 a.m. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
