South Jersey Man Sentenced To 90 Years In Prison For Baseball Bat Killing, Prosecutors Say
A man will likely spend the rest of his life in prison after beating a Highland Park man to death with a baseball bat in Burlington County, authorities said. Larry Brown, 29, was sentenced on Tuesday, Aug. 20 to 90 years in prison, Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia Bradshaw said in a news release. A Mount Laurel man and former summer camp counselor was accused of having child pornography, authorities said. Robert Nault, 23, was arrested on Wednesday, Aug. 21, Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia Bradshaw said in a news release. He was charged with possession of child sexual abuse material (CSAM). A Powerball ticket worth $50,000 was purchased at a convenience store in Burlington County, officials said. The winner was sold at gud2go Food Store on Route 70 West in Marlton, the New Jersey Lottery said in a news release on Thursday, Aug. 15. A Somerset man was accused of trying to get a boy to send him nude pictures and videos in a sextortion scheme, authorities said.
