Firefighters were battling a second wildfire in Burlington County in less than a week, officials said. Crews responded to the "multi-acre" fire near Mary Ann Forge Road in the Brendan T. PA Man Killed, Driver Airlifted In Crash On Jersey Shore Road: Troopers
A northeast Pennsylvania man was dead and another man was airlifted after a head-on crash on the Jersey Shore, officials said. Thomas Grau, 55, of Falls, PA, died in the crash in Dennis Township on Tuesday, Oct. 15, a New Jersey State Police spokesperson said. A Cumberland County detective was shot and killed during a home invasion in Bridgeton, authorities said. Sgt. Monica Mosley, 51, died late at night on Tuesday, Oct. 15, the Bridgeton Police Department said in a news release. She was a member of the Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office. A New Brunswick man was beaten to death in the city over the weekend, authorities said. Oscar Sanchez, 34, died on Sunday, Oct. 13, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone said in a news release on Tuesday, Oct. 15. Two Wall Township women were accused of stealing more than $10,000 from someone's bank account, authorities said. A train operator was killed and multiple others hurt after a tree fell on an NJ Transit train Monday morning, Oct. 14 in Burlington County.
