A tractor-trailer crash involving 10 vehicles left six people injured on the New Jersey Turnpike in South Jersey on Friday, Dec. 12, state police said. A Peterbilt tractor-trailer was traveling south when the driver changed lanes into the left shoulder to avoid a collision with traffic just before 4 p.m., in the southbound lanes at milepost 35.5 in Mount Laurel, NJSP Tpr. Careless Driver Causes 3-Car Crash: Berkeley Township PD
Three people were injured in a three-car crash in Berkeley Township, authorities announced last week. At 4:52 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 5, officers responded to Route 9 and Bay Boulevard, after a 2013 Nissan Altima traveling southbound struck a Ford Focus which was stopped in the southbound lane of Route 9, waiting to perform a left turn, Berkeley Township police said. The crash was caused by driver inattention and traveling too closely, police said. Woman Hospitalized After Car Strikes Tree On Route 287:

A 21-year-old woman was injured after her car crashed into a tree on Route 287 in Somerset County in Monday, Aug. 4, authorities said. At 7:35 a.m., a Nissan SUV was traveling northbound on Route 287 in Bedminster Township when it ran off the roadway to the left and struck a tree, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey Police said. The driver sustained serious injuries and was transported to an area hospital, Lebron said. The crash led to traffic being heavily backed up in the area, footage from NJDOT showed. The crash remains under investigation, Lebron said.

At 11:50 a.m., a Hyundai Kona and Genesis GV80 were traveling eastbound on the expressway in Pleasantville, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said.
