$200M Makover Coming To Aging Newark Airport Terminal
Newark Liberty International Airport’s tired, overcrowded Terminal B is finally getting a long-awaited facelift under a new $200 million overhaul announced by the Port Authority of NY/NJ.
The first $75 million phase of the project was approved Thursday, May 21, and will begin this year, targeting some of travelers’ biggest complaints inside the 53-year-old terminal — cramped gate areas, aging restrooms, broken escalators, outdated elevators, harsh lighting, and worn passenger spaces.

The fitness chain is expanding its footprint in New Jersey after acquiring five gyms previously operated by Jersey Strong, the company announced.
Fitness Holdings North America, a leading franchisee of Crunch Fitness, has acquired gyms in Tinton Falls, Ocean Township, Wall Township, Freehold, and Marlboro, according to the announcement. The acquisition adds approximately 190,000 square feet of fitness space in New Jersey, officials said.
