A 29-year-old police officer in Monmouth County was arrested and charged on Thursday, Jan. 23, with using computer databases to look up personal information about a woman and then traveled to her home, authorities said. A 32-year-old Ocean Grove man was arrested and charged on Friday, Jan. 10 with possessing child pornography, authorities said. Authorities began investigating Timothy Kanski after it was determined he was in possession and distributed child sexual abuse materials, the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office said. Authorities have named the Asbury Park woman who was struck by a van and killed on a busy Neptune Township road. Bridget Mobley, 70, died in the pedestrian crash on Route 66, a Monmouth County Prosecutor's office spokesperson said on Thursday, Dec. 12. Barnegat Man Among Two Indicted For Murder In 2022 Deadly Shooting, Prosecutors Say
Two men were facing murder charges in connection with the deadly shooting of a Neptune Township man more than two and a half years ago, authorities said. A grand jury indicted Kedrick Chatmon of Keansburg and Lamare Walker of Barnegat were indicted for first-degree murder and first-degree conspiracy to commit murder, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond Santiago said in a news release on Monday, Nov. 25.
