A Philadelphia man was shot and killed by police after a violent carjacking led to a high-speed chase and gunfire across the city, authorities announced Tuesday, April 29.
The incident began around 7:11 p.m. on Monday, April 28, when officers were called to a shooting at the Public Storage facility on the 500 block of East Hunting Park Avenue. A 32-year-old Hispanic man was found shot in the abdomen, and his Toyota Camry had been stolen, police said.

Three masked suspects forced their way into a Wall Township home, stealing a Porsche, a gun, and keys, authorities said.
The burglary happened on River Road at around 1 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 11, the Wall Township Police Department said in a news release.
Investigators said the trio broke into the home by forcing open a window while the homeowners were asleep. The suspects stayed at the property for about 20 minutes, taking keys to several vehicles, a gun, and a white Porsche.

A man and a woman will spend several years in prison after admitting to their roles in a shooting near an Atlantic City apartment complex nearly two years ago, authorities said.
Tawanne Williams, 42, of Philadelphia, was sentenced on Monday, July 15 to five years in state prison, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said in a news release. Jessica Bryant, 33, of Atlantic City, received the same sentence on the same day.

An Atlantic City man was accused of having drugs and a loaded gun, authorities said.
Anthony Ford Jr., 20, was arrested on Thursday, May 28, the Atlantic City Police Department said in a news release on Friday, May 31. He was stopped by officers while driving on Arkansas Avenue at around 7:51 p.m.
