A Sussex County teenager who went on to save five lives through organ donation is being remembered for his kindness, intelligence and infectious smile.
Gavin Joseph White, of Vernon, died Tuesday, June 2, at Lehigh Valley Hospital–Cedar Crest in Allentown, according to his obituary published by K.V. Knopp Funeral Home. The cause of death was not made public.

Bud Cort, best known for his unforgettable role in the cult classic “Harold and Maude,” died in Connecticut after a long illness, according to reports.
Cort, born Walter Edward Cox in the Westchester County city of Rye, New York, died Wednesday, Feb. 11, at the age of 77, Variety reported.
He grew up in Westchester, attended school in New Rochelle, and later adopted the stage name Bud Cort to avoid confusion with character actor Wally Cox, according to the outlet.

Terence Stamp, the charismatic actor whose icy stare and commanding presence electrified screens from ‘60s through the blockbuster era of Superman, died on Sunday, Aug. 17.
