A man holding scissors begged police to shoot him after a crash involving three vehicles — including one carrying children — in a Morris County gas station parking lot on Wednesday, May 21, authorities said (scroll for video). A police officer and a child were both hospitalized during a harrowing incident at a Central Jersey motel, authorities said. Sayreville police responded to The Knights Inn in Sayreville in response to a distressed family member staying at the motel who called 9-1-1 saying that their family dogs were attacking a 10-year-old boy around 11:20 a.m., Monday, Nov. 4, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone said. Boy, 8, Driving E-Bike Fractures Leg In South Jersey Crash: Police
An eight-year-old boy driving an electric bicycle broke his leg in a crash in Medford, authorities said. Emergency crews responded to the intersection of Wakefield Drive and Taisley Court at around 9:55 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 22, the Medford Township Police Department said in a news release. Investigators said a 2016 Honda Civic was driving east on Wakefield and approached the intersection. The car and the e-bike collided, causing the boy to be ejected. Woman, 3 Kids Started Brawl At South Jersey Cinema That Hospitalized 3 Others: Police
An Atlantic City woman and three children were accused of assaulting four people at a Mays Landing movie theater, authorities said. Kierra McQueen, 32, was arrested and charged with simple assault, the Township of Hamilton Police Department said in a news release on Wednesday, Aug. 28. Officers responded to a report of a large fight at Regal Hamilton Commons at around 8:52 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 27.
