Jersey Shore Electrician Killed In Parkway Crash After Striking Tree: Njsp A 48-year-old Tuckerton man was killed in a crash on the Garden State Parkway in Galloway, authorities announced Friday, Aug. 1. On Friday, July 25 at 12:12 a.m., a Toyota passenger vehicle operated by Frank Ippolito was traveling south on the Garden State Parkway when it lost directional control, exited the roadway and crashed into a tree, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for New Jersey State Police said. Ippolito was pronounced dead at the scene, Lebron said. A Stafford native, Ippolito graduated from Southern Regional High School in 1995 and worked as an electrician, according to his obituar…

Woman Convicted After Five Pets Found In 'Deplorable' Conditions In South Jersey: Prosecutors A former Galloway Township woman was convicted of having five pets living in "deplorable" conditions, authorities said. Lisa Monzo, 59, was found guilty on Monday, June 17 of five counts of fourth-degree animal cruelty, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said in a news release on Thursday, June 20. The conviction came after a bench trial in superior court. Galloway police and the county sheriff's office found a dog, two cats, and two birds in Monzo's home on Friday, Nov. 4, 2022.
