A Toms River home was engulfed in smoke in a two-alarm fire on Thursday morning, March 5. At 9:30 a.m., firefighters responded to a structure fire on Aldo Drive in the Silverton section of Toms River and encountered smoke and fire emanating from a two-story home, Toms River Bureau of Fire Prevention said. The bulk of the fire were located in the back of the home extending to the roof and attic space, firefighters said. A fire sparked by an electrical failure severely damaged an Ocean County home Friday night, Nov. 29, leaving the house uninhabitable, police said. Officers responded to 137A Hudson Parkway in Manchester Township around 9:23 p.m., after receiving reports of an active structure fire, police said. Upon arrival, smoke and flames were seen emanating from the rear exterior of the home. Person Hospitalized After Shed Catches Fire In South Jersey: Police
A person was hospitalized after a shed caught fire in Ocean County, authorities said. Manchester Township police responded to a structure fire on Riverside Drive at around 9:40 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4, the department said in a news release. Officers found a shed in the side yard of a home fully on fire. Officers evacuated everyone from the house and paramedics took one person to a hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation.
