A GoFundMe campaign identifies the athlete killed as Easton Beisler, who played for Upper Township. Township To Buy YMCA Slated For Closure After 15 Years In North Jersey
Wayne Township's YMCA is closing after 15 years, and the township plans to purchase the facility. The Pike Drive Wayne YMCA, a branch of the Metropolitan YMCA, reached an agreement with local officials to sell the building, according to a press release issued earlier this month. A West Long Branch man who's part of a storied family in judo is heading to Paris to compete at the 2024 Summer Olympics.
