14-Year-Old Motorcyclist Injured In Hit, Run Crash, Man Arrested: Hudson County Prosecutor
A 38-year-old Jersey City man was arrested and charged on Monday, March 10 following a hit and run crash that seriously injured a teenage motorcyclist last September, authorities said.
At 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21 at 10:30 a.m., Jersey City police responded to a crash between a motorcycle and sedan, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said.
The motorcycle operator, a 14-year-old boy, suffered a serious injury to a lower extremity, Suarez said. The sedan, operated by Nicholas Ortiz, did not remain on the scene, Suarez said.

A GPS tracker helped police in Summit locate a stolen vehicle on Monday, Feb. 3, leading to the arrest of four teenagers, authorities said.
At 4:45 p.m., a 2022 Range Rover was reported stolen from a parking garage in downtown Summit, police said. Officers used the Range Rover's GPS system to monitor its movements, police said.

The incident began on Jan. 10, at approximately 6:56 a.m., when New Jersey State Police responded to a bomb threat at the airport in Egg Harbor Township, Atlantic County, NJSP Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron said.
