Pedestrian Killed On Jersey Shore Roadway, Police Say A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle along a Jersey Shore roadway over Labor Day Weekend, authorities said. Absecon police were called to Route 30 (Absecon Boulevard) west of the Delilah Road overpass around 3:30 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 1, local police said. The pedestrian was killed and the driver remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation. Four Atlantic City Boys Took Stolen SUV On Joyride In South Jersey, Police Say Four Atlantic City boys were accused of stealing an SUV and driving it across Atlantic County, authorities said. A 14-year-old, a 13-year-old, and two 12-year-old boys were given several charges, the Galloway Township Police Department said in a news release on Monday, Aug. 12. Absecon police received a report of several people trying to break into vehicles in the city at around 1:45 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 11. The suspects were reportedly driving a Dodge Journey towards Galloway Township. Galloway police found the Dodge and stopped it near the intersection of Route 30 and Eighth Avenue.…

Atlantic City Man Killed Teen Pedestrian In Hit-And-Run Crash: Police An Atlantic City man was accused of killing a teen pedestrian in a hit-and-run crash, authorities said. Everette Williams, 52, was arrested on Thursday, May 16, the Absecon Police Department said in a news release. He was facing charges in the deadly crash on Route 30 West on Saturday, Feb. 17. Officers responded to the crash just east of Turner Avenue and near the Executive Lodge motel at around 9 p.m. A 17-year-old boy died from his injuries.
