According to NBC10, the man jumped from the second floor of the Fairfield Inn on the 100 block of Hurffville Road and led officers on a foot pursuit. An officer shot the suspect, who was struck by the gunfire but continued to run, police said. NJ Man Steals Construction Vehicle, Crashes Multiple Times, Prosecutor Says A 24-year-old man has been arrested for stealing a construction vehicle and leading a police pursuit in Somerset County on Tuesday, June 4, authorities said. Amr Khodeer, of Somerville, stole a vehicle from Union Street and sped away around 2:15 p.m. on June 4,  Somerset County Prosecutor John McDonald, Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Chief of County Detectives Francisco Roman Jr., and Bridgewater Township Chief of Police John Mitzak said.
